Well, it looks like Obama is the democratic party choice. But, what about Hillary? Since her last hurrah where she conceded and turned her backing to Obama, she seems to be quiet. Even though her and Obama had a secret meeting of sorts, which everyone thought was going to announce her as Obama’s VP, nothing more has been heard on who his VP is going to be.
Even though everyone thinks she added to the Obama ticket would make them an unbeatable team, I disagree. I believe people have had enough of Clintons in the White House. That I believe is why Obama got the delegates, not her, because even the democrats dont want to see her back in the White House.
I think Hillary will only be appointed by Obama at the last minute, if and only when he can’t come up with a good, well known running mate. This probably won’t happen though till after the Democratic National Convention and he’s the official candidate.
Meanwhile, I believe ole Hillary is laying back, working on plans for new programs she can introduce once she is officially made the VP candidate. Sure ,she’ll campaign heavy for Obama to get him elected, but at the same time I believe she will promote her own agenda to the voting public to gain some of the spot light.
So, I guess we now set back and wait and see what happens. Will Obama make her his VP or does he have another choice in mind. Only time will tell.

With Super Tuesday over it looks like Obama won the most states, but Hillary got the most delegates because of the bigger amount of delegates in the states she won. In my opinion this is pretty stupid. If you get the most votes you should be the winner, delegates shouldn’t count. But thats the way our system is made to run. Like it or not we have to live with it.
Even though I am not a democrat, I would rather have Obama running in November, not Hillary. I don’t believe we can take another Clinton administration ( that’s if she can beat the republican candidate, who looks like to be McCain). Eight years of Bill was enough.
Hillary’s ideas, especially concerning health care, scare me. I dont think it is fair to garnish peoples wages if they refuse to sign up for health care. What next, if you don’t vote you go to jail? How could somebody who believes in a free America even suggest such an idea. Looks like another attempt to take away one more freedom we have. If she really was concerned about health care then she would say that the insurance companies lower their premiums so the public could afford to purchase health care. Most of these companies are getting rich off the Amercian public. Another example of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.
We pay enough taxes in this country on everything, from wages to gasoline, that surely there should be a way of using some of that supply of money to fund some kind of health care plan. The common working person doesn’t need any more taken from his wages. It’s hard enough now for most people (unless your a politician) with the price of gas, food and raising a family to even save a penny.
